Grant criteria Overview

  • Applications for funding from the MeP should fit into one of the Fund’s key areas of interest: Sea, Land, Energy or Plastic

  • Proposals should be presented in a concise, narrative form, without extensive documentation; they should be clear and compelling, with the objective to create measurable and sustainable long-term results.

  • Sustainability must be a key outcome of the project.

  • The proposed activity must be sufficiently visible to leverage additional support from other funding sources.

  • The project must demonstrate a positive impact.

When to apply

Menorca Preservation will accept grants all year round and these will be discussed in the MEP’s Steering committee meetings, which are held every two months throughout the year.

How to apply

All applicants need to complete and send our application form. Where a grant has been approved by the SC members, the grantee will need to sign a Grant Agreement with the specific terms of the collaboration, before getting 70% of the financial support in advance of the projects implementation and the 30% after providing the project’s final report. Please download the application or fill in the online application form below
