We’re teaming up with Engel & Völkers for Menorca’s natural environment
Engel & Völkers Menorca strengthens its commitment to the promotion and preservation of Menorca’s great natural heritage by joining forces with Menorca Preservation: we both embark on this new collaboration with the desire to achieve significant and lasting results
Engel & Völkers Menorca will allocate time and financial resources to Menorca Preservation to be channelled into local projects aimed at safeguarding Menorca’s important natural heritage, focusing on our four key pillars: Land, Sea, Plastic and Renewable Energies:
Menorca is one of the finest examples of sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean. Great efforts have been made here to ensure the long-term balance between human development and the environment. There is a strong overall emphasis on tradition, regionality and preservation of the island’s natural beauty with an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Francisco Arnau, Director of Engel & Völkers Menorca
Engel & Völkers’ commitments range from making an annual donation to Menorca Preservation, to participating in the movement to reduce the use of plastic and promote sustainability, to supporting volunteer work within the local community, and promoting sustainable practices aimed at preserving Menorca’s valuable natural resources for future generations. In parallel, MeP’s team will support Engel & Völkers Menorca in reducing the use of plastics and improving their waste management through our “Plastic Free Menorca Commitment” certification. This consultancy, developed by our Plastic Free Menorca Alliance, focuses on the one hand on effectively reducing the use of single-use plastic and, on the other hand, to ensure that more and more businesses and entities really understand and have the necessary knowledge to mitigate the environmental impacts caused by plastic pollution:
We are very grateful for the support of Engel & Völkers Menorca, a partnership that will undoubtedly help to make more people aware of our mission and the important work that our environmental heroes carry out on our island.
Rebecca Morris, Executive Director of Menorca Preservation
