The Vegetable Production module of our Menorca Preservada training programme starts soon!

MENORCA PRESERVADA, our training programme that aims to accompany and advise farmers and livestock farmers on this learning path about a more sustainable agriculture for a better future of the countryside is back, after a 2022 full of intense work with 22 sessions held, 457 registrations, 132 participants and 60 hours of training.

Thus, on the 24th of January we will start the third module focused on Vegetable Production, in which we will go into detail about crops and techniques and we will talk about interesting topics such as green roofs, green manures, direct sowing, fruit trees, vegetable garden, fertilisation, grass and pest control, etc.

More specifically, three very interesting sessions will be held this month:

On the 24th and 31st of January, Marta Pérez Lopez, coordinator of the Plastic-free Menorca Alliance, will talk about the use of plastics in agriculture, a common problem in all farms which is important to be informed and aware of.

On the other hand, on the 25th of January, Ester Pérez, agricultural engineer at Agroassessor, will explain everything related to green roofs, green fertilizers and direct sowing.

As always, you can take a look at the full programme or register through the registration form published on our website.

Thank you very much to all the attendees for your involvement and support, as well as to all the entities involved in the project!
