The Menorca Doc Fest unveils its programme
The sixth edition of Menorca Doc Fest consolidates the short film festival Biosfera, which becomes a grant for documentary creation and artistic residency
This year as a novelty, the call for the Biosphere Award has been transformed into a documentary creation grant. Last June the selected artists: Claudia Barthelemy, Arnau Cloquells and Macià Florit, carried out the residence at Casa d’Artistes (Menorca) with the mentoring of Laia Manresa, to accompany the processes of creation and production and have had the support of Menorca Preservation, Menorca Film Commission and Fundació Foment del Turisme de Menorca in order to help production worth € 3,500. The result of this grant will be promoted on October 19 in the Albert Camus Room in Sant Lluís.
24 films, 10 exhibitions, 10 conferences, 14 venues throughout Menorca, over 60 artists and training activities for professionals and educational centres to celebrate the 6th edition of Menorca Doc Fest, which runs from the 4th of October to the 12th of November. Menorca Doc Fest also includes concerts, presentations, photography demonstrations, workshops and conferences.
