About the Wildlife Recovery Centre (CRFSMe)
The Wildlife Recovery Centre aims to contribute to the preservation of Menorca’s zoological biodiversity by providing care for injured or endangered wild animals, while also engaging in vital educational and awareness-raising work. The centre operates through an agreement with the Consortium for the Recovery of Wildlife in the Balearic Islands (COFIB), which falls under the Ministry of Environment of the Balearic Government (GOIB). It also receives support from the Island Council of Menorca and the local councils of Ciutadella, Maó, Es Mercadal, Ferreries, Sant Lluís, and Es Castell. The Lithica Foundation collaborates by providing the premises, and veterinary care is supported by the Jaume Pons veterinary clinic.
