Private tour to the Contemporary Montenmedio Foundation located in Cádiz by its Director Jimena Blázquez Abascal, one of the most important open air museums in Europe with a unique collection of sculptures by international artists. The visit includes a magical experience of the work of “architect of light” artist James Turrell at dusk. This unique journey through the Dehesa Gaditana (Cadiz manorhouse) and its sculptures, includes a lunch for 12 people in which you will be able to taste the amazing local gastronomy including almadraba tuna.

Jimena Blázquez was nominated a Young global leader in 2009 by the World Economic Forum for her implication on the support of contemporary art and by the contributions to public art projects and completed a program at Havard Business school for YGL. At NMAC Foundation, Jimena has managed to create a platform of creative art and ideas where artists from all over the world come to dialogue in a unique surrounding between Africa and Europe. Her support and involvement at an educational level in favour of environmental protection and cultural knowledge has make her create a place establishing new forms of understanding, opening frontiers towards multiculturalism where the public is the main protagonist.

The Montenmedio Contemporánea Foundation (NMAC) was created as a place of interaction with its social, cultural and territorial context. Their programming  is based on the production of images that facilitate the creation of parallel universes where visitors can lose themselves for a time, encouraging them to establish links with the world in which we live.  Montenmedio Contemporánea considers education as a fundamental tool to root and spread these principles in which culture and art are considered as a fundamental element to establish the values of a free-thinking and avant-garde society.
